Cork Folk Festival Gathering in 2013

For the Gathering of 2013 the Cork Folk Festival will be inviting all our emigrant musician back to Cork for one giant fling. All of these musicians will have strong links with Cork, many were born here others have lived in the city and county before moving on to another country. What connects all of these musicians is their great traditional music, their love of Cork and their visits to the folk Festival. This will be the biggest gathering of musicians ever seen in Cork and we will be organising concerts, sessions, workshops and dance events to celebrate their visit. We want to bring home the music to Cork in 2013 so if you have any ideas please contact us.

What you can do to help

• Get in touch with us with contacts for Cork Musicians who are living abroad and might like to return to Cork.

• Help publicise the event in your country or with your relations abroad.
