An Céilí Mór

PDF Print E-mail
KeshaPut on your dancin' shoes for the Céilí Mór with festival favourites The Kilfenora Céilí Band. And don't worry if you're CV hasn't got Riverdance on it, there'll be free lessons on the day!

Not many people live to the ripe old age of 100. In the span of a century, entire countries rise and fall, cultures evolve, fashions transform. Yet some have endured. There are those who still prevail and even prosper. One such icon, Ireland’s oldest Céilí Band, was born a century ago in the tiny village of Kilfenora. The band will be one of the highlights of the festival as the Ceilí Mór returns to the streets of the Rebel city along with food stalls and children's entertainment...

Grand Parade, 2pm, Sunday October 2nd.
