Cork Folk Festival 2012 Survivors Guide

The Cork Folk Festival is an international celebration of world class Folk and Traditional Music.  The festival is 34 years old  and is one of Ireland's  most exciting music events. This autumn thousands of musicians and followers of good music will throng to Cork for the four day event. Performances take place in concert halls, music venues, in 30 pubs and on the Streets. It will feature concerts, gigs, lectures, trad sessions, workshops, children's events, dancing and specialist instrument concerts in fiddle, accordion, pipes and traditional song.

We are also organising a special programme this year to celebrate the 'The Gathering  2013'  our plan is to invite emigrant musicians back to Cork for one giant fling. We will have details on this event  soon.
